Nasi Lemak Bungkus

This morning, I sent my eldest daughter to school for her co curriculum meetings. After that, I stopped by the roadside hawker stall to get some nasi lemak bungkus for my family.

The stall was known to us as Kak Nor's stall (sister Nor). The proprietor there made good kueh, nasi lemak or rice cooked with coconut's milk and served with egg, anchovies,
cucumber and sambal (chilli paste) . Other dishes they have were fried noodles, nasi dagang (a popular rice dish made famous from the east coast of peninsula malaysia, usually served with tuna curry), fried rice, doughnuts and so on.

You can get a good meal here for very affordable prices in this day and time. A packet of basic nasi lemak only costs about RM1.20. I added on some cockles sambal, some curry puffs. So a meal for 3 people only came up to less then RM7!! For my overseas pals, that comes to about 2 Euros/ USD , not including beverages.
For people in Selangor interested in the place. It's in Taman Seri Gombak. :-)
