Celebrities that use Botox

Botulinum toxin Type A (Botox) was primarily used to treat muscle spasms before gaining popularity as a cosmetic treatment.
Botox is a non-surgical aesthetic treatment administered by a doctor to treat frown lines. Botox works by reducing the contractions of the muscles that cause the frown lines that develop as people age. With appearance playing an important factor in their careers, many celebrities use Botox and aren't afraid to admit it.

Jenny McCarthy, 36, says she goes for Botox every 2 months, “My tricks are I get Botox in my forehead – I just have my doctor do a little shoter there. If you overdo, it looks bad.”

Vanessa Williams, 45, is a fan of Botox – even her character on Ugly Betty has her gay assistant give her Botox injections in her office. Vanessa gets injections in real life every 3 months.

Model Daisy Fuentes, 42, uses Botox, “There’s a right time for things like Botox as you get older.”

Lisa Rinna recently admitted to going overboard with Juvederm injections in her face. “In my family, it’s hereditary to have scowl marks between the eyebrows.” Lisa gets injections every 3 months.

Lori Loughlin is a Botox user. “It makes you look like you’ve been on a really nice vacation. Just really well-rested.”

Jennie Garth says she didn't have a good first experience with Botox. She told her doctor next time she wanted less. "I don’t want my face to change."

Linda Evangelista
openly talks her use of Botox. “How do other women feel when they see the pictures? Models are not superhuman. We grow old,” Linda says.

Jennifer Aniston has admitted she once tried Botox and wasn’t a fan. “I tried Botox once. I felt like I had a weight on my head. You see women, you know they’re not young, but you can’t tell how old they are.”

  1. I admire these women because they admitted something that everyone saw: that they had botox....even if some celebrities try to hide this people are not stupid and see the difference because it's obvious:)

I had botox after seeing a few before and after pictures on this site http://www.skinvitality.ca and off course after a friend tried it at the same clinic. The difference between me, a normal person and a celebrity is that I was very proud with the result of my treatment and told everyone about it:)

    1. thank you for visiting my blog and for sharing your own story... you are also remarkable... =)

  2. I must say whether it is for medication and beauty, botox has an edge. But it should be with guidance and advises of expert.

    1. Thanks for your visit ... I do so second your opinion as well.... whatever medical and beauty procedures should be use with the guidance and advises of the expert.....

  3. I agree with Model Daisy Fuentes, there's a right time for things like Botox. Whether or not, these celebrities have unfolded the facts, the positive effect of Botox has been proven. Not just guidance and advice, @Eline, but professional and genuine guidance and advice. :)

    1. Tobi's right. Botox will continue to do its job, which is to make people beautiful and relieve chronic migraines. Doctors would do well to continue to research about what other benefits Botox could have for mankind.

  4. “How do other women feel when they see the pictures? Models are not superhuman. We grow old,”---- Certainly true. Most of the time, the models and celebrities undergo Botox treatment because they become too conscious about themselves. And what gives them reason to be too conscious? Well, that’s because of how other people judge their looks or their figures. Plus, they’re under heavy societal pressure to stay beautiful. We want them to stay beautiful. We expect them to stay beautiful. I guess we couldn’t blame them for getting Botox after all.
