That was part of the email I received a week and a half ago , but it was enough to bring whoops of joy from my little girl who was a big fan of Kidzania. She immediately made plans to include her bestie, budding young actress Balqish aka Kissya Nick (as she is better known to her fans). FYI Kissya Nick has acted in a few dramas and movies including Jin, the recent local horror movie.
Early in the morning, at about 9.30am, I picked Balqish up from her home and we headed to the Curve.
We arrived at the Curve, parked and then crossed the adjoining bridge from the first floor of the Curve, next to Borders to the Curve NX building.
The girls got their t shirt and also 'boarding passes' at the Kidzania 'airport'.
The first place they rushed to were the bank where they exchanged their cheque of 50 kidZos for kidZos (Kidzania money). With kidZos, the kids can spend their money purchasing goods at the Kidzania Departmental Store or pay for services and lessons. They can also earn kidZos for every job they do and choose to deposit them in a savings account at the make believe CIMB bank there in return for an ATM card that actually works at the ATM machine there too!!!!.
In case you did not know, Kidzania is a city exclusively for kids where the most common establishments found are recreated such as the KPJ hospital, a fire station, a beauty salon, Hitz FM radio station, a supermarket, Sushi King Sushi bar, the Honda car dealership a threatre and so much more...
And at every establishment, kids can role play more than 100 real-life roles .

And then a stint being Hitz FM guest deejays.....
You can buy food here at Kidzania but it is expensive.... a packet of nasi lemak cost about RM5. This fried rice and vegetables combo including the drink set me back RM16.50 and it is not very tasty... sadly... So before you enter Kidzania, better make sure the kids eat their fill first to save some money....You are not allowed to bring food or drinks and your bags will be checked....

The girls had some Baskin Robbins 31 ice cream upon exiting Kidzania over at the Curve. They left, happy and tired....
