Leading
home and lifestyle entertainment brand, HGTV
will introduce home and design enthusiasts to two of the channel’s biggest
stars. Celebrity television hosts and real life twin brothers, the good looking Drew and
Jonathan Scott will be visiting Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore as part of an
exclusive tour to promote their hit HGTV programme, Property Brothers, which will premiere on Astro Prima (Channel 105),
Astro’s popular family and entertainment channel.
The program, along with other popular HGTV titles, will be airing exclusively in Malaysia on Astro Prima from Friday, 20 February onwards.

Jonathan, a licensed
contractor, and Drew, a seasoned agent, have invested nearly 15 years in the
real estate industry. In 2004, they founded Scott Real Estate Inc., a company
that oversees the sales and construction of residential and commercial
projects. With offices in Vancouver and Las Vegas, the firm now services
hundreds of clients and employs dozens of workers.
The brothers are as
passionate about performing as they are about properties. Jonathan and Drew
have been involved in film and television since they were kids, and founded
Dividian Production Group in 2002 with their older brother, JD. When not
spending time on camera, Jonathan is an award-winning illusionist in Las Vegas,
and Drew focuses his attention on directing and producing films.
With more than 15 years of experience in making dream homes a reality
for homeowners, Drew and Jonathan Scott are television’s twin titans. Their
witty banter, charming personalities and uncanny knack for uncovering real
estate treasures, have helped to make them the faces of home renovation on
television since Property Brothers
made its U.S debut on HGTV in 2011. Since then, the talented and charismatic
duo have gone on to star in other hit programs such as Buying and Selling and Brother
vs. Brother.
From 23 to 26 February, the brothers will participate in a series of
road shows and exclusive dinner events in Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
Fans in Kuala Lumpur will have the opportunity to meet the gorgeous looking brothers in person at Paradigm Mall on 24 February. They can also win a chance to attend an exclusive, invite-only dinner event with the brothers by joining the “Meet and Greet” contest running on the HGTV Asia Facebook page (www.facebook.com/hgtvasia) from 4 February 2015 till 15 February 2015.

In the lead up to the tour, fans can also visit the HGTV Asia Facebook page
and post questions that they have for the brothers. Fifteen entries will be
chosen and personally answered by the brothers in vignettes that will be
featured on the page. The five best questions submitted will also win an
exclusive HGTV goodie bag.
When asked about his expectations for the tour, Drew Scott, the real
estate half of the duo, said, “I am so excited to visit Malaysia for the first
time! Having seen photos of its beautiful architecture and urban spaces, I look
forward to exploring this dynamic city for myself! I also can’t wait to meet
the fans there and answer all their questions about home design and get to know
more about their lifestyle and culture.”
Echoing his brother’s sentiments, Jonathan Scott, an experienced
contractor, commented, “It feels great to be able to get up close and personal
with the home and design enthusiasts in Malaysia. I hope that they will be
inspired by the fresh ideas and authentic stories featured in Property Brothers and that they will be
able to incorporate some of what they learn from the program into their
everyday lives.”
Derek Chang, Managing Director of
Scripps Networks Interactive, Asia Pacific said, “We are so pleased to have the
opportunity to bring our brightest HGTV stars to Malaysia to celebrate the
premiere of the hit program, Property
Brothers on Astro Prima. Drew and Jonathan are fantastic and I am sure that
they will captivate and charm their fans here. The HGTV team is excited about
its first move into Malaysia and we look forward to working with our partners
to bring the experience of the channel to life soon.”
