If you do not have any idea, do be sure to check out the travel bucket list and plan your holidays now as traveling is one thing that is worth spending money on but trust me, it does not mean a lot of money.. you can actually travel for a lot less with these travel hacks I personally use...
1. Flight tickets - Personally for me, I would buy my tickets about 6 months or more earlier.. usually when there is a sale going on... as this can save me a lot of money...
Another tip someone gave me is to buy your tickets on less busy workdays, preferably Tuesday or Wednesday. Try not to book your tickets on weekends as it will tend to be more expensive... Do make it a point to travel when it is low season as this helps you save cost...
If you need to travel but do not have that much budget, why not just travel around your own city or the neighbouring states as I bet many of you have not even been to half of the tourists attractions in your own country.. You actually will find a whole lot more things to love about your own country...
2. Getting around - learn how to use the public transport and save a lot of money.. if you are heading somewhere with less public transport, then it might be wise to get a few friends with a car to travel with and share the cost...or you can also take advantage and use transportation apps such as Grab which will save you a fortune in costs and the stress from haggling with unscrupulous taxi drivers.
3. Accomodations - Book your accomodations... this gives you plenty of time to compare prices and find one that suits your budget ...
Try to avoid holiday seasons and weekends if possible as most hotels have surcharges then...
I love to choose and pick my stays that are close to the city or at least the train or subway...
