Music 2023 - REMA RELEASES DELUXE ALBUM RAVE & ROSES ULTRA

Global superstar Benin City’s own Rema releases Raves & Roses Ultra, a deluxe version of his debut album released over a year ago today. 

The 22-year hasn’t taken his foot off the gas since his inception and continues to climb every chart possible, peaking at No.4 in the OCC, No.6 in the Billboard Hot 100 and has gone Gold once, Diamond six times and Platinum nine times across the globe. Rema remains laser-focused on bringing Afrobeats worldwide and delivers the Ultra version featuring three new songs to celebrate the year anniversary. 

As always with Rema, expect the unexpected and lead single ‘Charm’ - produced by London (who also produced ‘Calm Down’) - combines a seductive beat with intimate and playful lyrics.

Rema's 14-stop Rave & Roses tour will kick off this July in Washington D.C. making stops in New York City, Houston, Chicago, and more before wrapping in Los Angeles on August 17th. Tickets are on-sale today at 10am local time.

Alongside the tour announcement, "Calm Down" reached one billion combined global streams (original track and Selena Gomez version) on Spotify alone. It has become the highest charting African song of all time on the US Singles Chart. 

Recently, Rema performed the single and "Holiday" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and captivated fans during his halftime show performance at NBA All Star game. The single earned him his first hot 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, and No. 1 on the Billboard Global (Excl. U.S) chart, and has become the best performing Afrobeats video on Youtube of all time. "Calm Down" has received unwavering support across India and The UAE, it was the first No. 1 single on the debut MENA chart, and now Rema is the 63rd most streamed artist on Spotify with over 39 million monthly listeners, the highest amount an artist from Africa has ever achieved
