SHOPEEFOOD RIDERS TO BENEFIT FROM THE RAKAN PENGHANTAR PROGRAMME ON THE IMPORTANCE OF ROAD AND PERSONAL SAFETY

 ShopeeFood riders now have access to formal education on road safety as well as first aid response and emergency practices through Rakan Penghantar, a pilot programme organised by ShopeeFood. The programme was launched by YBhg. Datuk Azlan Shah Bin Al Bakri, Director of the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) during an event at the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS). It was attended by key stakeholders from Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) and Road Transport Department Malaysia (JPJ).   

The main objective for Rakan Penghantar CSR initiative is to encourage close cooperation between the relevant Ministries and Government agencies as part of ongoing efforts by ShopeeFood to educate food delivery riders on being safe and obeying traffic regulations.  

This additional training will empower food delivery riders not just with good safety habits but also emergency skills to help reduce road incidents. A total of 100 ShopeeFood riders in Selangor were the first food delivery riders in Malaysia to participate in the programme. 

“ShopeeFood is proud to initiate this education programme specifically aimed at food delivery riders. P-hailing riders have a tough job of driving hundreds of kilometres every day to ensure food is delivered to our customers. Protecting our ShopeeFood riders safety and wellbeing is our utmost priority. It helps to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure their safety while at work,“ said Kwa Yin Leng, Head of Operations for ShopeeFood Malaysia. 

In total, five Rakan Penghantar workshops were conducted at the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) by experienced trainers from both MIROS and Malaysia Civil Defence Force (APM). 

Each workshop was conducted four-hours and hosted up to 20 ShopeeFood riders. The modules included three main areas covering the below topics: 
● Definitions, factors of road accidents 
● Risk analysis of motorcyclists and the competency requirements of safe riders 
● Hazard perception and situational analysis training  
● Safe riding methods for motorcycles 
● Motorcycle inspection routine 
● Safe motorcycle gear 
● Safest riding position 
● Emergency braking performance of motorcycle riders 
● Emergency situation management and motorcycle damage on the road 
● First aid training for emergency situations on the road 

Participating ShopeeFood riders who successfully complete the workshop also received additional incentives from ShopeeFood including a full gear starter pack and vouchers.

Masak 340 KG Sotong Untuk Sedekah Masjid, Ramai Puji Keihklasan Pasangan Influencer


Adalah menjadi kewajipan bagi setiap hamba-Nya melakukan kebaikan sesama manusia sebagai seorang umat Islam….

Hal ini termasuklah amalan bersedekah kepada golongan yang memerlukan, sekali gus menjamin pahala berganda.

Apatah lagi jika sesuatu yang ingin disedekahkan itu disediakan sendiri oleh si penderma….

Begitulah yang dilakukan pempengaruh dan usahawan, *Aleeya Zailan* dan suaminya, *Azri Aziz* atau Big Boss yang seikhlas hati memasak dengan sendiri hidangan untuk diagihkan kepada 340 jemaah masjid sempena sambutan Maulidur Rasul di Masjid As-Syakirin Gombak, Selangor baru-baru ini.


Menerusi video dikongsikannya di media sosial, kelihatan Aleeya dan Azri serta beberapa pembantu bertungkus-lumus menyediakan masakan.

Sebanyak 340 kilogram sotong sedia untuk dimasak sebelum dibawa ke masjid bagi menjamu jemaah yang hadir.

"Bahkan, kami turut menyajikan beberapa lauk lain seperti sambal sardin, gulai daging dan sayur goreng," celotehnya sambil sibuk menumis bahan.

Mencecah ratusan ribu tontonan, rata-rata warganet menyifatkan sikap ditunjukkan Aleeya dan keluarganya itu sesuatu yang jarang berlaku dalam kalangan individu berstatus jutawan.

Masakan tidak, mereka berpendapat bahawa Aleeya semestinya mampu mengupah katerer bagi memesan sebarang menu diingini, namun pasangan berkenaan berbesar hati untuk melakukannya sendiri dari awal hingga akhir.

Bukan itu sahaja, mereka turut memberi sumbangan dalam bentuk barangan asas dan keperluan harian kepada para asnaf dalam kariah masjid tersebut.
