Intermark Mall is proud to collaborate with Karyaneka, a subsidiary under Kraftangan Malaysia, and Wak Long Music & Art Centre to showcase the art of shadow play, cultural games and traditional artforms through engaging workshops.
Shoppers are invited to participate in workshops to learn how to make shadow play puppets, paint batik, make Batu Seremban and play Congkak from 16 to 30 April at the Meriah Raya Gallery, Ground Floor.
Shoppers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to learn more about the history of Wayang Kulit and witness spectacular shadow puppet performances regaling traditional Malay folktales by Wak Long at The Art of Shadow Exhibition at the Meriah Raya Gallery. The Wayang Kulit Shows by Wak Long will take place on 16, 17 and 24 April 2022 at 2pm and 5pm.
As part of the festive shopping experience, there will also be a showcase of traditional gamelan music and cultural dances by students of Taylor's International School Kuala Lumpur on 12, 13, 14 April at 1pm at the Ground Atrium.
