I got the new Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, and here are some of my thoughts on this new device
The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G runs on Android 13 and One UI 5.1. Samsung did mention that the Galaxy A54 5G will get four years of Android support and five years of security updates.
Up until now, but as to be expected, running the phone has been smooth…. Thanks to the Exynos 1380 mobile processor that is powering the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G , you can actually download apps pretty fast and multitask….
Since the Galaxy A-series is targeted at energetic and youth audiences, the Galaxy A54 5G is offered in four colors; Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White.
I got the 256GB storage + 8GB RAM version in Awesome Graphite, but you can choose a 128GB storage version that's slightly cheaper.
The Galaxy A54 5G comes with a pretty aesthetic back which is shiny and so, kinda prone to fingerprint marks….
The Galaxy A54 5G is IP67 dust and water-resistant and the screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and comes with a Super AMOLED full HD+ display which supports 120Hz refresh rate for better browsing, viewing, and gaming.
The power and volume buttons located on the right side of the phone while the SIM card tray is right at the top. The USB C and speakers are found at the bottom. The Galaxy A54 5G comes with stereo dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage that can further expand with a microSD card and is equipped with the latest Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
Personally for me, as a content creator, the camera is the most important in my smartphone and the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G comes with a triple triple rear camera setup; a new 50-megapixels f/1.8 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixels f/2.2 fixed-focus ultrawide, and a 5-megapixels macro lens.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G photos are pretty clear and vibrant in good lighting, with subjects popping distinctly.… the phone is light and pretty stylish and I've yet to try out all of the features, so do wait for the upcoming full review!
