Shopee Empowers Malaysian Creators Through the YouTube Shopping Affiliate. Programme

Shopee Malaysia has partnered with YouTube - through the YouTube Shopping Affiliate Programme in Malaysia - to give local content creators more ways to monetise their videos by turning them into shoppable content. The Programme enables creators to tag Shopee products directly in their YouTube videos, Shorts, and livestreams — making it easier for viewers to discover and shop without leaving the platform. This new pathway not only empowers creators to earn, but to also reach wider, more engaged audiences.


This milestone builds on the rapid momentum of Shopee’s Affiliate Programme, which has seen exponential growth across livestreaming and short-form content platforms. In 2024 alone, Shopee Affiliates orders rose by 81% year-on-year, Shopee Live affiliate orders surged by 248%, and Shopee Video affiliate orders grew 63x between April and December.  Open to everyone — from creators to everyday users — the programme empowers individuals to earn through tagged content, product reviews, and livestreams, all powered by Shopee’s Affiliate Marketing Solution (AMS).

Unlike the common “3:7 freezer-to-fridge” ratio, the Mega Freezer adopts a “4:6 design,” providing more freezer space.


 This aligns with the bulk-purchase habits of Malaysian families, solving the issue of limited freezer capacity while offering easier organization and storage.


The showcase also featured SHARP’s newly launched top-load inverter washing machine series, designed to meet modern demands for energy-efficient laundry care. New front-load models were also introduced, catering to younger users’ preferences for stylish design and gentle fabric care. Continuing the 2024 “My Second Washer” concept, the exhibition features three mini washers and tub-less models. Sensodyne Tackles Widespread Tooth Sensitivity in Malaysia with Fresh Mint Launch

A new survey* conducted by Haleon, a global leader in consumer health, reveals a significant public health concern in Malaysia: tooth sensitivity. The survey of 248 Malaysians showed that a staggering 69% experience regular tooth sensitivity, with 61.8% enduring the discomfort rather than seeking dental treatment. The survey, conducted among the 18-40 age-group, showed that younger generations are highly affected by this issue. Dododots releases limited edition The Powerpuff Girls collection


Malaysian acne patch brand Dododots is launching a new line of The Powerpuff Girls-inspired acne patches in March 2025. This exclusive collection will be sold as a blind pack, using the same blind box concept where the contents are sealed and kept a secret until purchased and opened. Each design will reflect the unique personalities of Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup.


The designs that will be available are:

•Awesome Blossom: Based on Blossom, the leader of the team. The patches in this pack come in a fiery red shade with playful pink accents.

The two science graduates put their medical biotechnology, environment biology and microbiology knowledge together to create these innovative acne patches in 2021 during the pandemic.

The result was the innovative Dododots beauty patches that are made of 100% hydrocolloid material but fully coloured with various shapes and designs as a refreshing alternative to traditional transparent patches. The acne patches use the same clinical-grade wound dressing material doctors use on patients after surgery making them not just fun but functional.
