Soprano Laser Hair Removal at Face Factors Clinic

Being beautiful is every woman's dream, and it is always quite a challenge when you are not a natural beauty like Nur Fazura or the Duchess of Cambridge who has natural beauty even without any  makeup on. Most of us look frightful without any makeup. However with the right makeup and care, any women can be beautiful. All it takes is a little effort and more hard work. 

And that is why, it is said that there are no ugly women, only lazy ones. As women, it is of utmost importance to always take good care of yourself  so that you always look your best. 

So, when yours truly was asked to suss out the soprano laser permanent hair removal treatment at Face Factors Clinic, I was excited... and also terrified. Terrified? I am a chicken, a coward. I hate needles and had recently turned down a Korean beauty treatment because it involved needles and being on a drip. I think I had enough of needles when I suffered from dengue fever earlier last year... and errr.... I am about to get lasered? (Uh uh...)

But getting my legs, half my legs hair free, and smooth was really one of my dreams...(huhuhu...) then I was assured that it was pain free....( uh... really??!!)

Upon a peek at the Face Factor's Facebook page, it is written that Face Factors is a premier aesthetic and wellness clinic located in the latest city hub- Publika, Solaris Dutamas @ Mont Kiara. Its a one-stop center for beautification services set in an ultra-stylish yet comfortable and relaxing atmosphere

Being a curious person, who was excited but freaking nervous made me take a peek at the webpage 

Anyway, the appointment was set and I was on my way to Solaris Dutamas near the Soho there..... and when I was there I called the clinic to realize I was at the wrong place. The clinic was actually very near to Publika and so I had to turn back and was late for a good half hour... (how embarassing)

It surely was quite pretty and welcoming...

..with nice glass cabinets and an assortment of skin care and treatment creams on display, but I did not get much time to really check them out... 

I was ushered into the treatment room where I was told to change out of my pants into the 'skirt' given.

OK... the picture below is somewhat embarrassing, as I did not shave my legs for a week prior to the treatment as I was unsure of what to do or expect and when I asked a friend , she said no need to shave. So I am here with these hairy ugly legs my little daughter complained of being prickly- no surprises there right....

Anyway, the beautician assured me it was ok. You can come fully shaven before the treatment or with hair, and if you come with hair like these, they will shave it for you.

This machine here is the Alma Laser machine used for the hair removal treatment.

After shaving my legs, they drew lines on it, as maps, so they would know where to do and not overlap it too many times.

The Alma Laser machine was turned on... and my heart was somersaulting in half fear... fear of the unknown...

The beautician applied gel on my legs, the gel was clear and cold on my skin.

The second beautician started with the laser treatment. I was given a pair of UV sunglasses to wear while the two ladies did the treatment. It was not painful as I expected. It was warm... and she rubbed the laser on my skin. There were some parts where there was a slight sting, but that was probably because I just got shaven.

OK... the Alma Laser /Soprano Laser here actually gently heats targeted hair follicles under the skin with gentle pulses of light based energy until they can no longer produce new hair, while we get comfortable. It is said that nearly any part of the body can be treated safely and comfortably, including the face, neck, arms, bikini line, back and stomach.

The Alma Laser/Soprano Laser treatment actually feel very much like a hot stone massage.

So if you wish you no longer had to shave, pluck or wax unwanted hair, this is definitely much more comfortable then all those plucking and waxing...you should really consider this and check it out...

It is advisable to go for the package if you can afford it because it is cheaper and it will really solve your hair problem as just one treatment won't really get rid of your hair growth, just make it weaker and less stubby.
