BUSTED ‘GREATEST HITS 2.0’ IS OUT OUT

Everyone’s favourite pop-punk time-travel enthusiasts Busted have released their new album ‘Greatest Hits 2.0’. It sees the trio James BourneCharlie Simpson and Matt Willis - simultaneously rewind the clock and step into their future with a hi-octane, maximum fun collection that reworks all of their classic hits with the help of an A-Z of high-profile collaborators.

Having previously unveiled guest turns stretching from Jonas Brothers to Neck Deep, the album’s new focus track ‘3AM’ is another fresh highlight.

Joined by James Arthur, this version of ‘3AM’ sees Busted upscale the intensity and drama of the original, switching the feel from power ballad to fiery emo-rock. First released in 2004‘3AM’ spent two weeks at #1 as a double A-side with ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’.

Talking of which, the updated ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’ is a dream for fans of early 2000s pop-punk as Busted are joined by their old friends McFly. Other highlights race out of the speakers at every turn, with The Vamps adding their own pop-rock rush to ‘What I Go To School For’, You Me At Six infusing ‘Air Hostess’ with added bite, and Dashboard Confessional heightening the introspective mood of ‘Everything I Knew’. There are also new features from Deaf Havana , Charlotte Sands, Bowling For Soup and Wheatus, plus a whole set of Busted’s solo 2.0 updates.

In an interview with Kerrang! this week, Matt Willis commented, “Going into the studio again, and re-recording the songs as we play them now, that felt really exciting, and something that we really wanted to do. And getting different people to feature on them just sounded really fun, and we wanted to work with all these people and we were stoked they said yes. It’s been a really cool experience.”

Physical formats of ‘Greatest Hits 2.0’ are available HERE, including some value-for-money album bundles.
