An interesting stay at the Hotel de ART....

I have always admired the imaginative minds of some individuals, so when I heard and learned of the Hotel de ART's concept I was truly intrigued. Hotel de ART is located at Section 7 in Shah Alam, quite close to the iCity and also UiTM

Hotel de ART no ordinary hotel. This boutique hotel is Malaysia’s 1st ART themed hotel, with 58 different Art themed rooms. All their rooms are individually designed with themes inspired by fairy tales, flowers & nature, fantasies, movies, cities like Paris & New York, mystical Egypt & posh Europe, cartoon characters like Hello Kitty & Mickey Mouse and even legendary superstars like Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and even Lady GAGA! It will definitely have you in awe....

 My husband had his school reunion recently at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Golf Club, so we decided to stay a night there ...

From the outside, you can spot the hotel which had very colourful abstract circles all over the building...

Upon stepping foot inside the hotel, I could see a European style reception with a very inviting velvet type seating area ...

The hotel is full of clever details, vibrant colours and bold interiors which will fascinate and mesmerize all guest who step inside this place. Upon checking in, I was given a  Superior Deluxe room, the Pharoah's Conquer, which I was pretty excited about... We took the lift up to the room..

As you can see you no longer have to head all the way to Egypt now for an Egyptian experience, as the Hotel de ART has the most perfect Pharoah's Conquer room for you. This room is ideal for two and the unique seemingly 3 D Egyptian wall designs will have you imagining yourself in some Egyptian palace long ago...

Frankly, speaking, I was in love with the room and I was also absolutely loved the four poster bed....

Room type: Superior Deluxe Room

Room Features: a Queen Sized Bed, Free High-Speed WiFi, 32″ LCD TV with selected satellite channels, Writing Desk, Direct Dial Telephone, Electronic key card system, Ensuite Bathroom with Hot Shower

I also love the bedside lamp... which I think was just so pretty... It definitely gave the whole room a romantic feeling...

The amenities that came with the room....including the coffee/ tea making facilities... in this case they give you a couple of 3-in-1 coffee sachets...

My daughter also found the room interesting...

The bathroom comes with bright sunshiney yellow tiles and I just loved the rain type shower that ensures you an amazing shower experience...quite rare in a boutique hotel....

but unfortunately, besides my hubby, I had an extra person with me... (my kid) and the room was a little too small for 3 people, so I had to request for another room.... The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and she changed my room to a triple room...

However the triple room was at another entrance considering the hotel is divided into three sections or three entrances... This one was behind the Hailam Kopitiam, near a DIY laundry , so if you need to wash your clothes while staying here, there is a laundry here too!!!!

We had to climb a slight of steps to the first floor...

The hotel corridor was done in Parisiene style and as you can see, there is also an ironing board and an iron laid out if you want to iron your clothes...

  

And here you have it, my upgraded room... A perfect place to relax, unwind and slumber away in the Life is Like A Dream room, which is suitable for 3 people...It is a much bigger room and it even have a cupboard there

Room type: Triple Room

Room Features: 1 Queen bed + 1 Single bed, Window overlooking the road, and also part of the lake…, Free High-Speed WiFi, 32″ LCD TV with selected satellite channels, Writing Desk, Direct Dial Telephone, Electronic key card system, Ensuite Bathroom with Hot Shower

Personally, I thought the bathroom was very elegant in shades of grey and red... 

And I liked that the hotel was also very thoughtful enough to supply us with toothbrushes, as to be honest, sometimes I tend to forget these kind of things... huhuhu

For those who are particular about their beauty and hair styling, there is a hairdryer in every room and a plug for shavers...

And taadaa.... there you have my little girl happy on her own bed... being 11 years old she can no longer squeeze into our queen size bed as comfortably as she used to when she was 5 or 6....

And by the way, did you know at the other block where my upgraded room was, there were some trick eye paintings there as well where you can have some fun with if you are up to it...

Before we check out in the morning, my hubby, daughter and me took the chance to enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Hailam Kopitiam...

As you can see, there was a choice of 10 different meals you can order with your voucher, for free and it comes with a free beverage of your choice, of which you can select from the menu too... 

As I had only two vouchers, we ordered a Fried Mee Hoon and a 2 Toasted Slicked Bread with Butter, Kaya & 2 Omega Half Boiled Eggs. Then I ordered an extra Nasi Lemak in which I got an extra 10% off...from showing the Hotel de ART keycard...
