IKEA launches 'Let’s Play for A Change'

I don't know about you, but I love IKEA, it is always a treat stepping into an IKEA store and smelling the almost therapeutic fresh pine scent that I can so associate with IKEA...

Anyway, FYI, IKEA recently announced the launch of its Let’s Play for Change campaign for this year's holiday season, of course....

This campaign is a global initiative that contributes towards children’s development and learning through the sales of the IKEA Play range.

For every children’s toy, book, game, art & craft and play furniture sold from now until 24 Dec 2016, the IKEA Foundation will donate €1 (approximately RM4.60) to War Child, Save the Children, UNICEF, Room to Read, Handicap International and Special Olympics to enable their projects in support of children’s development and learning around the world...

Isn't that simply awesome... so head on over to IKEA for some presents and do your part in contributing for this good cause as well...

IKEA believes that playing is a key part of life development; making our kids, and us adults too, more creative, stronger and more active. As an organisation dedicated to creating a better life at home, it is part of IKEA's job to inspire and enable people to play more together.

Besides the Let’s Play for Change campaign, IKEA Malaysia is also harnessing the power of giving twice, through its ‘Give Twice’ initiative.

IKEA Play Range
To support the Let’s Play for Change campaign, IKEA is introducing the IKEA Play range to motivate children to develop their social skills and logical thinking through role play, imagination, creativity and movement. The range includes baby and children’s items such as toys, books, games, arts & craft and play furniture. The range will also include soft toys created from the winning designs of ten (10) children from countries around the world which were selected at the beginning of this year.
