Watch Seekers Underground on tonton

If there is something we are often scared of yet intrigued and curious about it would be the unexplained paranormal phenomena... a place where the supernatural realm transcends our natural physical laws...

Many people, both young and old are fascinated by this... thus the popularity of ghost  stories, or tales of the supernatural...including, yours truly and her daughter...

Some people who are skeptics , might pooh -pooh these hauntings as nothing more than tricks of the mind, delusions or hoaxes, while some others believe in the existence of these beings.. my youngest daughter is one of those who has seen these entities, but peaceful normal ones... and so has my husband... as they seem to have the sixth sense... some however might have had horrifying and scary encounters with these restless and upset- for-whatever reason/ not-at-peace entities...

I was over at the TGV luxe where tonton launched the latest season of local paranormal investigation team Seekers Underground... after the team has traveled and investigated the shadowlands of our country.... in places in Kedah, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor and Kelantan where hauntings and sightings had been reported....

You can watch these investigations and findings in the 15 episode Seekers Underground that premiered on 11th November 2016 and is currently showcased every Friday over tonton, Malaysia's number 1 online portal...

We had to ring a bell to get our tickets from a mini haunted picture booth where a pocong was loitering outside... and another would open a hidden window to pop out to hand over tickets to us...

Then we were ushered to Chill X room where it had been blacked out and where a couple of puntianak and a few pocong roamed among invited guests and members of the media...

We then were ushered into the Luxe cinema to watch episode 4 where the Seekers team explored an abandoned teacher's quarters in Kedah where the occupants have seemed to have left the place in a hurry, leaving some belongings behind as well...

...and that place was definitely very 'keras'/haunted considering a member of the team sensed the presence of a child sitting at the swing in the playground, and another member of the team felt uncomfortable and felt something breathing heavily into his ears and trying to make contact.. there was a couple of volunteers, on which was shoved to the ground after he dared the entities to enter him and another, a woman who was so extremely frightened and vulnerable that she was actually possessed twice...

The thing was we were watching it in the cinema with the pocongs and puntianaks around in the cinema too...

The series is a spin-off of ntv7's Seekers which became a household name in Malaysia, being the first and only local paranormal programme . Seekers Underground team consists of paranormal researcher and professional photographer, Syai, and physic, Amir, who has the sixth sense and the ability to see and communicate with spirits... The duo will also collaborate with other local paranormal groups to gain access to new and rare haunted locations.

At the beginning of every investigation, the pair will learn about the history of the place and gather information from people who have reported the sightings. They will then investigate using cutting-edge equipment such as an infrared digital thermometer, a full spectrum digital camera, a go pro with ultraviolet light and 360 mechanism, a sound recorder tape , mcp with infrared camera to shoot the experience in HD

So , be sure you tune in to tonton every Friday to watch Seekers Underground share some of their most chilling experiences ever on their ghost hunting spree....

Keep your eyes and ears out too as it has been confirmed that the versatile and handsome actor Arja Lee will also be one of the volunteers to get up close and personal with the supernatural....
