RUNNING MAN CHALLENGE Asian Prince saves the day...

I was at the Running Man Challenge hydrated by 100plus event with Lee Kwang Soo as the specially invited guest flown in all the way from South Korea...

Now 100plus, which advocates living an active lifestyle and which is constantly motivating its consumer to rediscover the rush of adrenaline when you are active decided to pair active lifestyle and fun together, thus bringing the famous Running Man experience to Malaysia with the 'Running Man Challenge hydrated by 100plus' in partnership with ONE HD.

There was a series of audition that happened in Kuantan, Johor Bahru and Putrajaya tested the participants mental and physical capacity before 10 final participants were selected.

They were then assigned into different teams led by Malaysian celebrities - Ajak Shiro's Original Team, Ayda Jebat's Berry Team, Hairul Azreen's Orange Team and Shahrul Ridzuan's Lemon Lime Team

The teams were brought together to compete in a set of customised challenges on the 'Running Man Challenge hydrated by 100plus' which was held at the Paradigm Mall on 26th November 2016 where they fought for the chance to play with the Asian Prince from Running Man Korea, Lee Kwang Soo...

Hairul Azreen's Orange Team won the honors of course.......

Fans of the Asian Prince, also known as Giraffe were waiting for him to arrive as early as 9 - 10am...

Notably when K stars are around the security is so much beefed up, so much so that sometimes I think the security for K stars are tighter then royalty or VIPs...and the security personnel can be pretty rude...

But this really was a bit too much I think when even Ayda Jebat fell victim to their high handed man handling...

Ayda Jebat and some of the Malaysian Running Man team were up on the stage with Lee Kwang Soo when an excited Ayda Jebat wanted to get a wefie with the Korean star... she took out her phone and guess what.. a bodyguard jumped on the stage and simply snatch her phone away...

We all know it's not possible to take selfie with him but the bodyguard should check the list of Malaysian celebrities and he should admonish her and take the phone nicely, not just snatching it away like that and leaving everyone including the Asian Prince himself stunned...

Lee Kwang Soo, being such a Prince, headed after the guards to retrieve the phone, hand it back to Ayda and urge her to retake the wefie...

When I was at the press conference and watching Lee Kwang Soo sign autographs, the star sportingly looked at his fans, posed and smile so that they could take pictures and ended up that the manager was heard chiding him to just sign the autographs and don't look up...

That's just how rude the management and bodyguards are at times and this is hardly the first time as it happened before, as I had personally seen a friend who is an official newspaper photographer got on the stage at another event and was forcibly dragged of the stage with a nasty bruise on her arm...

Otherwise, it had been a thrilling day getting to see Lee Kwang Soo in person , again for me, but nevertheless he is such a sweet gentleman and prince especially after what he did for Ayda Jebat...

The challenge was filmed and will be released on ONE HD ASTRO CH 393 on 1st January 2017 at 4.45pm as the first Running Man Challenge show recorded in Malaysia.
