But what if you’re looking for something else to do on your beach vacation? 1.    Stop by the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina. This theater is run by a dedicated group of islanders who organize a variety of events, including visual and performing arts as well as seasonal activities like food festivals or the Christmas Holiday tree lighting ceremony. Every year, they organize musicals, dramas, and plays and offer art exhibits as well as lectures and art workshops.

2.    Head over to the Coastal Discovery Museum where you can take excursions, attend classes and festivals, or participate in programs to learn about the history of South Carolina’s Lowcountry. You can see the Marsh Tacky wild horses, walk the gardens, and learn about the turtles, crabs, shrimp, and other sea life that that call Hilton Head home.
