Introducing the faster than faster vivo V3 Max

I am always fascinated when new phones get launched as I think most gadget freaks would be as well.. and this one is the latest launched from vivo since they last launch the vivo X5 Pro last year. I have been using the vivo X5 Max and it is definitely one of my favorite phones...

Hell.. (oops, pardon my language) I dropped it into a bucket of water accidentally once and was scared to death it was a goner and at another time again I accidentally spilled water inside my bag which got my digital camera haywired but my vivo seemed perfectly fine after I wiped it off carefully, much to my relief!!! Maybe I am just lucky, but maybe its vivo!!! So I will attest to the fact vivo is really a good phone....

Anyway I was at the TalentLounge yesterday where vivo revealed the vivo V3Max for just RM1399 (inclusive of GST) and I swear I think that is a steal, considering how freaking expensive smartphones are nowadays!!! The device will be up for retail sale beginning on 15 April at all authorized vivo dealers nationwide

So what are the specs?? Here is the list.....

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core 1.8GHz 64-bit processor
  • 4GB of RAM
  • 32GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card up to 128GB)
  • 153.9 x 77.1 x 7.58mm and 168g
  • 5.5 inch Full HD IPS Display (1080 x 1920 resolution)
  • 13MP rear camera (LED flash) + 8MP front camera

  • Funtouch OS 2.5 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop
  • 3000mAh battery
So having listed these down, I  might be wrong, but I really feel it is great value for money ... right??!!

Mr Mike Xu, the CEO of vivo Malaysia giving his introduction speech

With the tagline "Faster than faster",  vivo V3Max stands out with is fast response time and smooth experience dut to its Funtouch OS 2.5 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The "CPU mode smart recognition" feature is part of the OS and it's designed to run the CPU in a number of ways, with 30 over items optimization at the system's bottom level.

Another very impressive feature of the vivo V3 Max would have to be its Dual-Charge Circuit that provides fast charging speed, boasting 2 hours of non-stop music playback in just 5 minutes of charging!!! the vivo V3 Max has adopted the dual-chip controlled twin engine charging circuit, the twin-circuit is able to provide faster and more stable charging speed than a single-circuit one.

Selfie addicts can take selfies with the fingerprint on command, it also has a new camera feature known as UltraHD photo which can take extremely high-quality crystal clear
pictures that when you zoom in the image even when in fast action movements... I swear I need this kind of camera!!!!

  3. I was there too at the event. Vivo V3 Max is definitely a nice device for that price point. A device with 4 GB of RAM for just RM 1399 is just crazy. It is definitely a competitor to Asus Zenfome series which comes with similar RAM.
