KPOPX & Zumba Fitness Party 2016

What did you do over the weekend... I followed my blogger friend Misz Ella around on some errands and we ended up at the SJKC Choong Wen along Jalan Klang Lama. Why? Apparently there was a KpopX & Zumba Fitness Party 2016 happening there...

Now I love Zumba, it is one of my favourite workout routine, though I have to admit I am not that good at all the dance moves but I totally did not know anything about any KpopX.....
Upon  registration and getting our arms stamped, we made our way into the hall... wow... is this really a school hall?? It has been transformed to look just soooo happening......

The fitness party was already under way....

The KpopX & Zumba Fitness Party 2016 brought 3 International instructors from Korea, Thailand & Singapore.

This included the lovely and innovative founder of KpopX Fitness, Maddy Lim and her team of trainers and instructors; Eva Lee (HYEYOON LEE) and the sexy and sensational ZIN from Korea with various dance & fitness background; and Thailand fitness superstar Kero (Natthapong Champachan) !!!! And boy, were they smoking hot not only in looks but also great at making the whole hall of rapt zumba and KpopX enthusiast feel the fever pitch...

KpopX Fitness, the latest & trendiest fun korean dance fitness is here! It simplifies Kpop dance moves & combines with Cardio Exercises! I thought it was cheesy but now I find it surprisingly fun and I love it!!!

KpopX Fitness is a dance / workout concept founded by Maddy Lim. The participants are mostly in their 20s to 30s and are intrigued by this trendy and creative K-pop dance-and-aerobics fitness concept.

KpopX Fitness workout cleverly combines simplified & modified K-pop signature dance moves (Yes, those dances you saw on famous Kpop Music Video!) with cardio, aerobics and body toning exercises. It allows one to achieve weight loss & body toning effects by dance exercise to continuous K-pop hit songs e.g. Mr Chu (Apink), Gentleman, Daddy (PSY). One can dance fitness up to 13 Kpop songs within an hour. (K-pop in case you do not know, is short for Korean Pop music

KpopX Fitness is quite a high intensity, unique workout session and surely full of entertaining values. It is designed in a way that it would satisfy K-pop fans that want a quick fix, it would also allow anyone without dance or aerobics background to dance to their heart’s content while enjoying health and fitness benefits.

I am so hooked... I am so going to go and get myself enrolled in another KpopX Fitness class after this... huhuhu

ZIN here from Korea was really eye candy for all the men present but her moves were really great as she led the whole hall of people with her Zumba fitness session....

Zumba is a Latin inspired dance workout which is one of the  most popular group exercise in the world . You get to boogie and groove to the beats of Latin American Salsa, Flamenco and Merengue.....

Here is a picture of some of the participants who are all paying attention to the instructors and following them....

After the pretty ZIN has gone off the stage, Thailand fitness superstar Kero (Natthapong Champachan) took over the Zumba session with his moves...

You don’t need to be a great dancer to feel welcome in a Zumba class. And do you know with Zumba, you can work up a sweat in this 60-minute classes and burn about 369 calories -supposedly more than if you were to do cardio kickboxing or step aerobics. You’ll get a great cardio workout that melts fat, strengthens your core, and improves flexibility... How awesome is that....

And of course, the music and the beat makes you want to dance... who can resist the music....

KpopX is just about the same.. with the Hallyu craze hitting Asia all over, there are just so many Kpop fans and who can ever resist dancing or moving to the groove of some upbeat Kpop songs....

If you want to know more benefits for joining Zumba and KpopX, I did read somewhere that if you have diabetes, Zumba and KpopX is a great way to lose weight and build muscle. Your blood sugars will go down when your energy level soars. Do check with your doctor first, for precautions, ok....

And besides losing weight, Zumba and KpopX can help lower your risk of heart disease, reduce your blood pressure and bad cholesterol, and boost your good cholesterol.

Thanks to Misz Ella for bringing me along, and the Work Out Studio for having me...
