Shopping in Taipei, Taiwan....

Taipei is definitely a haven for shoppers. Being on a small budget, we brought about RM1000 just shopping money and hey, guess what.. it wasn’t sufficient. There are just sooo many things to see and when you see, there are things you want to buy because it is cheaper then usual....

Here are pictures of the bustling shopping alley of Wupenfu. Wupenfu Garment Wholesale Area is supposedly the largest commercial zone focused on clothing. Somewhat like Kenanga is to the KL lites…

Below are some pictures from Ximending, known as the Harajuku of Taipei… lots and lots of shopping too..

Then here was the Tamsui Old Street, and Shilin Night Market where there are also lots to browse, shop and smell.. including stinky taufu..
And Jiufen for souvenir stuff. My recommendation is to buy whatever you want best in Shilin Night Market area.
I got lots of great deals there souvenirs and clothes. Though you can get pretty cheap normal clothing at Wupenfu as well…

Above pic: what happened after a group of people are set loose to shop in Taipei… hahaha , the luggages definitely expended and grew up to the extend the porters/ bellboys had to squeeze and shove all the excess baggage into whatever available space in the tour bus..
