Since it was the school holidays and well, just before I head off for my holiday, I brought my youngest daughter to KidZania to have some fun as well as to join the inspiring Puan Fatimah Abu Bakar and her three 'students' from the Oh My English! show at KidZania Kuala Lumpur Theatre.
My daughter definitely had a fun time learning about how to act, make facial expressions, and using imagination to make believe some scenarios with the students from 4 Merah, Sekolah Ayer Dalam from the "Oh My English" series, Mazlee (Zhafir) , Anusha (Kaameshaa) and Zack (Juzzthin).
My daughter is a huge fan of Oh My English, and have never missed an episode, and she was excited that she got to get up close and personal with them.
The kids were all invited to join in the workshop and they were divided into three groups headed by group leaders, and my little girl got to be under Zhafir's group.
They were then encouraged to open up and introduce themselves in a fun manner, " I am Syafiqa and I am a princess..." etc...
The team leaders were all very supportive and did their best to encourage their team members..
Kaameshaa headed her all girl group very well... and even if some of the children were at first shy and scared, they eventually opened up and got very involved in learning with their celebrity team leaders and Puan Fatimah Abu Bakar...

The teams were then set up to discuss and do simple facial expressions charade games to be guessed by other teams and the audience.....
Here, Juzzthin, Kaameshaa and Zhafir fighting for the rights of their team going first.... it ended up Kaameshaa's group went first, Juzzthin's team went second and Zhafir's team went last...

Juzzthin's team was entertaining as they acted out difficult to guess emotions which other teams and the audience had quite a task trying to figure out....
Then Zhafir's team which my little girl was in began their 'acting'.. it was definitely fun and everyone burst out laughing at the kids facial expressions...
The group leaders show how they acted out simple moods like being sad and happy for their team members to see and learn as well...
Then the workshop participants were all told to lie down and close their eyes and use their imagination to imagine what Puan Fatimah told them to...
The participants were delighted when Vita, one of the mascots from KidZania pop in for a surprise visit and danced with them...
Then , after a group photo opportunity, everyone left, sad that the workshop was over but happy and a little wiser as to how to act, thanks to Puan Fatimah and the Oh My English team...
There is still another workshop happening today and tomorrow, so if you are heading over there to KidZania or do no know what to do, head over there for this rare golden opportunity to learn from the celebrities who are already professionals for free!!!
