KidZania's Top Brand Industry Partners

Yours truly was at KidZania a few days ago to find out who the new industry partners were for the award-winning learning centre. 

For those of you who do not really know much about KidZania, KidZania is a kid sized city for kids aged between 4 to 14 which empowers and inspires kids to pursue their life's dreams by giving them an avenue to explore what it is like to live and work in a real functioning city.

They get to choose from over 100 jobs related role-plays spread over 60 various city establishments....

KidZania is located at Curve NX in Mutiara Damansara, just 45 minutes drive from KLIA, 20 minutes from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang and just 15 minutes away from KL City....

It is connected to The Curve shopping mall via a link bridge and walking distance to IKEA Damansara, IPC Shopping Centre, Tesco and eCurve.

Kids acquire real-life skills, learn all about working and having a career and they are also introduced to the basics of learning how to manage their own finance.

When kids are having fun playing at KidZania, they are also learning social skills, mutual cooperation and respect. Their creativity shines , they get to learn independence, and develop skills in decision making, creativity, critical thinking , communication, confidence and collaboration- all the necessary skills needed to succeed in the world as adults...

Anyway, it was announced that Spritzer, Media Prima TV Networks, Media Prima Radio Networks,  STABILO, Canon Malaysia and BHPetrol are the industry partners for the new year...

"We are proud to not only welcome three new partners but also to maintain three outstanding partners in our KidZania family. We firmly believe this collaboration will further enhance the educational experience in KidZania Kuala Lumpur," said Susanah Abdul Rani, Governor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur.

All six partners were presented with "keys" to the city of KidZania Kuala Lumpur, to symbolize the trust and appreciation of their industry contribution to the themed learning centre.

The acting academy theatre is now be under Media Prima TV Networks...this is where kids will get a chance to learn how to be an actor/actress and perform on the stage of the theatre... Other then this, Media Prima TV and  Radio Networks also allow kids to experience the thrill of becoming a radio announcer, a guest speaker and a news reader...

Then there is the BHPetrol Pump Station where kids will learn the importance of refueling their car and so on....

Canon's imaging studio provides kids with the opportunity to learn how to take photos using  DSLR cameras, understanding photo composition and handling the  functions of the camera.

STABILO is also running a design studio to encourage kids creativity....

Spritzer, the newest addition to KidZania introduces a replica bottling plant where it demonstrates the bottling and quality control process for mineral water as well as gathering used bottles for recycling through the role plays as bottling plant operators and deliverymen.

KidZania Kuala Lumpur goes beyond traditional teaching mediums to continuously look at opportunities to expose kids to new experiences and endless occupational possibilities and is now officially endorsed co-corricular partner to the Malaysian Ministry of Education.

Since school holiday are around the corner, be sure to bring your kiddies, or nieces and nephews here to let them play and learn...

  8. I visited Kidzania once and the noise made by the kids was so awful, I vomitted. The dim lights didn't help. Naturally, that was my first and last trip there. LOL

  9. Kidzania is really near my place, though I have not had the chance to visit, but have heard good and positive remarks about this place.
