The toner comes in a large glass bottle with plastic packaging on it.
The bottle is slightly frosted and opaque so you only slightly see inside the bottle. The plastic cap has "The Face Shop" on it...
It has a small opening protected by an aluminium foil on it when you first open it.
Hmmm the scent. I like it... loads... It has a light floral scent, but which is not too overwhelming. The scent for this toner is really very pleasant.
The toner somehow looks like water.
There are two ways to use it.. you can use it on a cotton pad .. just pour a small amount to moisten your cotton pad....
Then swipe the cotton pad over your face in circular motion....
You can see that it spreads easily and is quickly absorbed into the skin. The skin feels cooling, hydrating and soothing minus any stickiness. And any dirt on the skin is quickly cleaned off....
Or you can actually just pour it on your finger tips and use it on your skin directly, to save on the toner....
The toner is quite light and I highly recommend this for many skin types.
I have to say that this is a great product for sensitive skin. Because there is no alcohol added, you will not feel any burning or stinging sensation at all, unlike certain toners... Even on it's own, it is an amazing moisturizer, as you can instantly feel your skin refreshed and bouncy!
It is important to use toner after cleansing as this will help soften, moisturize and prepare your skin to absorb the essences and serums better.

i have calendula skincare from another brand too. i m not sure if thefaceshop's one smells great, but i certainly love the calendula's floral scent :)
