See What A Difference A Stay Makes at KIP Hotel Kuala Lumpur (Hotel Review)

So yours truly was over at the KIP Hotel with the family - my hubby and daughter in tow to check out the newly opened KIP Hotel and a little temporary change in life we need. Because, face it, with all the normal routine in our lives , sometimes it can be draggy and we do need a break from routine, and indulge in a trip somewhere. It doesn't really need to be too far away... For me it could be just checking into some nice hotel and spending time with family , kids and friends relaxing, chilling out etc....

Anyway this gorgeous hotel was opened to public since October 2015 and is located off the busy Jalan Kuching at the thriving Sri Utara commercial district... And if you do not know where it is... you actually cannot miss the red, white, grey KIP Hotel from Batu Caves or Jalan Kuching... and it is not too far from the Tesco Hypermarket near Taman Wahyu...

Before we go any further, let me give you the address.....

KIP Hotel
No.77 Jalan Seri Utara 1
Sri Utara, Off Jalan Ipoh,
68100 Kuala Lumpur
Tel: +6018 281 1608

The KIP Hotel is supposedly the newest business class hotel but the design and everything inside the hotel is minimalist modern, vibrant and colourful..

KIP Hotel offers business and leisure travelers a convenient location... The Selayang Industrial Park, the popular Batu Caves, Genting Highlands, KL city , Kepong and even some of our local government offices is all easily accessed from the KIP Hotel..

There are so many colourful seats in the lounge area where guests can seat and wait to get their rooms or wait for family or friends....

The reception counter is small but they are quick, and registering into the hotel is just signing on the tablet.....very efficient...

KIP Hotel Kuala Lumpur boasts 199 vibrant and tastefully designed guestrooms that are modern, chic and comfortable, including 12 executive rooms and 3 suites. All rooms are well-equipped with a selection of amenities, LED screen TVs with satellite channels and complimentary WIFI and the WiFi is pretty great... Love the speed etc....

My room is on the 9th floor. I learned that every different floor of the KIP Hotel comes with different colour themes...the 9th floor was sort of dusky pink...which will be the colours of the numbers on the door as well the walls of the floor and inside the rooms....

My Home for the Night.... the Executive Queen Room....

The Executive Room measures 346 sq. ft.,it comes with twin queen bed and is adequately equipped with modern conveniences.

My daughter was definitely thrilled to bits getting to have the whole queen sized bed to herself....

The hotel was really sweet enough to leave a personalized note for guests too...

Coffee and tea making facilities and complimentary RO water for guests...

There is only a hand held shower but it works great... My bathroom was a little clogged and after my shower, the floor was a little flooded, but when I called the maintenance people, they were quick to come and within minutes, my shower was no longer flooded and everything worked well...  I have to commend the maintenance staff for their fast service...there has been one or two hotels in the past where the maintenance seem to take ages to appear.....

Love the ample towels given......

There is a hair dryer in the bathroom for use....

And oh my, look at the amenities...there are really ample amenities for everyone in the room...

Facilities....

There is a gym there, of adequate size for gym bunnies and for those who cannot miss out their exercise to vent their energy on.....

There is also a very lovely and picturesque Aqua Infinity Pool here for guests who need a respite from the busy day.....

And of course, when yours truly travels or at least goes for a staycation somewhere, especially with my not-so-little one, she needs to have somewhere she can swim.. and she was sooo in love with the pool...(and oh... pardon my ugly feet in the picture above)

My daughter , Anne here claims that the pool here is one of the best, since it is not too shallow, nor too deep and she loves the view of the lake....

Daughter making splashes in the pool....breaking the calm serenity there was....

My other half chilling out by the pool watching our daughter swim when I distracted his concentration by taking this picture...

Evening View of KIP Hotel

There was a function there at the Function rooms and so thus all the fancy deco...

KIP Hotel has 4 function rooms, including a total space of 1,969 square feet banqueting hall for those in search for a place for a party, wedding dinner or corporate function area...

When evening came, the lights were turned on, and I simply loved that those so called white tables came to life with colours as the day grew darker....

The front of the KIP Hotel in the evening... and yes, evening  is a busy time at the KIP hotel since they cater to many tourists and it is the time these tourist come back from all the sightseeing or are getting ready to check in...

KIP Hotel with the lights turned on is even a more gorgeous sight ....

Won't you agree....Don't take my word for it, seeing is believing..!! So go see for yourself...

There is this fabulous lounge area called At Six, on the 6th floor , naturally... where the area is covered by faux grass carpetting and colourful Doof  beanbags of all sizes and shapes are strewn across the area... this place is a haven to chill out.. you can curl up with your favourite novel there, spend some time there with your friends and family chilling out and watching TV or a video presentation on the wall from the projector and so on...

This is the view from my room at about 7am...

Some Other Rooms Available

The Deluxe room.....in this case, the Deluxe Twin....

Offering simplicity and generous amount of comfort, each  Deluxe Room measures about 225 sq. ft. and features either queen or twin beds with dedicated bedside reading lights.

The Deluxe Suite.....

Suitable for those who wants space.. there is definitely a lot of space here. I think this is ideal for long term guests or even some busy executive who will be spending more time in the hotel...

The Executive Suite.....

A generous amount of space, the Executive Suite is huge (I do not know the measurements as it is not provided yet) but it comes with two queen sized beds, a dining area, a living room, and is the size of a one bedroom apartment... hehe...

My impression of the hotel and my stay? I did have a very comfortable stay there, the staff were very accommodating and friendly .

My room was spacious enough for all three of us, and our beds were so comfortable we had a hard time dragging ourselves out of bed... LOL.. and pssst...(I know that because I had such a deep sleep I dreamt a funny but amazing dream)... so I guess that is how comfortable the bed was I had amazing dreams.. LOL

The food here is also commendable but I leave it to another post... so check it out again on my blog ok....
