Park Shin Hye celebrates Mamonde's Flower Day with fans

Yours truly was at 1 Utama earlier.. to attend Korean brand Mamonde’s Flower Day with the special appearance of Mamonde’s brand ambassador, the lovely and popular Korean actress, Park Shin Hye… (and with that I have met almost all of the main cast of Doctors, the Korean drama.. from Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Rae Won and now, Park Shin Hye – a big feat – in my personal opinion, though for non fans, it is probably not a big deal)

Park Shin Hye arrived in Malaysia to officially launch Mamonde Flower Day, celebrated to inspire us to show love and appreciation to all those whom we love and admire with the gift of a flower… It is also meant to be a day dedicated to admiring the beauty around us..

It was Park Shin Hye’s first visit to Malaysia and she laughingly told us about her experience trying out satay…and that she was moved by all the loved shown by her fans and that she also hoped to be back next year again…

Well, Park Shin Hye is simply gorgeous as she looks on TV.

She has the most flawless skin and well.. she is not “money minded”… (ok.. I am kidding.. I meant that she never showed the Korean love sign using the thumb and the second finger…. The same sign our Olympic medallist Pandalela used in the Rio Olympics and got accused of being money minded)

The Oval Concourse of 1 Utama Shopping Centre was transformed to a wondrous flower garden with the Hibiscus as the main highlight since the Hibiscus was Mamonde’s flower of the month, amidst the other four key flowers, the Honeysuckle, Narcissus, Lotus and Camellia…

The event was a fun-filled affair with plenty of fun activities and Instagram worthy backdrops and those present could play games such as Flower Dice, Cotton Candy, have their pictures taken at the photobooth etc etc…

Fans of Park Shin Hye were there as early as 10am to claim their front row seats… I really admire their tenacity and devotion as much as I like any celebrity, I really cannot see myself doing that…

Park Shin Hye was appointed as Mamonde’s brand ambassador in 2014. She started her acting debut in 2003 in the Korean drama Stairway to Heaven. Then in 2006, she starred in the South Korean-Japanese series Tree of Heaven and later acted as the leading actress in He’s Beautiful (2009), Heartstrings (2011), Flower Boys Next Door (2013), The Heirs (2013), Pinocchio (2014-2015) and Doctors (2016). Park Shin Hye is said to be included in the Forbes Korea list of “40 Most Powerful Celebrities” in Korea…..

Mamonde is a Korean brand of skincare that has been inspired by flowers.  Mamonde has transformed women with the amazing benefits and energy of flowers, after finding that the moisturizing and skin nourishing ingredients of flowers can actually help women radiate and blossom further…

Mamonde also launched two new additions to their Moisture Ceramide range, which was inspired by the lovely Rose of Sharon or Hibiscus… the National Flower of both South Korea and Malaysia…

The Moisture Ceramide Skin Softener and Moisture Ceramide Emulsion was launched with the powerful moisturizing substance of the Hibiscus flower…and ceramide that are similar to our skin components keep our skin well moisturized and healthy….

Do head over to the nearest Mamonde counter at Mid Valley AEON or 1 Utama AEON to find out more or check out the Mamonde Flower Day event area until the 16th October 2016…
