My husband's birthday celebration... (in pictures)

My other half turned one year older recently on the 20th of February and we had a couple of little celebrations for him. First it was lunch at the Secret Recipe in Prima Seri Gombak after a plan to have lunch at the Restaurant Kari Kepala Ikan SG backfired as the restaurant was closed because of the Chinese New Year celebrations.

Hubby ordered a serving of English Breakfast Tea .....

And I got a glass of iced lemon tea...

Our little girl ordered the Seafood Spaghetti Aglio Olio which came served with errmmm..... red bell pepper?!

The Spaghetti was pretty yummy though, although a little bit more spicier then I would have thought it to be and my little girl enjoyed it with her eldest sister, Alyssa.

They even had a "Lady and Tramp" moment chomping on the same spaghetti......

Here is my picture with the birthday boy... hehehe

I ordered the Vietnamese Beef Noodles which looked pretty bland... My guess is that they have run out of proper garnishing because of the Chinese New Year....but the taste is flavorful and reasonably ok

Hubby ordered the Vegetarian Mushroom Pesto Pizza and everyone was tempted to steal a bite.

My lovely step daughter ordered the Dory with Lobster Sauce which looked pretty dull and strange with the garnishing... actually it looked a bit unappetizing..but as for the taste, I guess it is just about ok

So let's see...We probably chalk this down to Chinese New Year and the lack of ingredients....

A birthday celebration is not complete without a birthday cake... and a slice of Chocolate Banana Cake did the trick...

The birthday boy looked cool and composed as we serenaded him with our "Birthday Song"

....and cut his cake like he cut fruits.... LOL

Anyway, we had a good time with his lovely ex wife, Amy and lovely daughter Alyssa who made time to spend his special day with him...

Later in the evening, the celebration was at Bukit Antarabangsa at my sister in law's home...

We had assorted muffins which tasted scrumptious....

Here is my handsome nephew, Ian....

On the menu was some Sate Kajang Haji Samuri,.....

... and some seafood fried rice specially made by my other nephew Azraai....

...and some finger food bites which was of course the most popular one among the family...

Second time blowing the candles.....with my mother in law and our little girl

Make a wish and may it come true.........

We even had an ang pow exchange among the family members just for Chinese New Year....

And hahahaha.... here are my husband's presents.....lots and lots of new clothing. Thanks to all dear family members for the great moments together and gifts on behalf of my other half... Love you all...
