Many people cannot resists pandas….. they are big yet so
cute and cuddly, and when you see their
eyes…. Oh my goodness, I can drown in their dark limpid gaze…
It is also just so fascinating to watch a panda sitting
upright on its hindquarters munching on bamboo grasped by an enlarged wrist
bone that functions like an opposable thumb.
And yes, I was over at the Zoo Negara aka National Zoo here
in Kuala Lumpur to see the panda as well as attend the media launch of the all
new MAT KOOL Panda ice cream… held at the Panda Conservatory Centre there….
Yes, MAT KOOL, one of the leading ice cream brands in
Malaysia By Nestle which is well known for its assortment of yummy ice cream is
now introducing the MAT KOOL Panda, a cute panda shaped ice-cream with a rich
creamy combination of vanilla and chocolate and I am telling you you better get
out to the nearest MAT KOOL seller and taste this yummy smooth ice cream
confection now…
Just before the event began there were some face painting or
hand painting activities…
There were also gorgeous cuppies for everyone to those who
had sweet tooth , like me… hahaha and refreshments..
The event started with a flash mob in which MAT KOOL made
his surprise appearance to everyone’s delight…. MAT KOOL was busy looking for
his new friend all over…. And Panda only emerged later…
And when they got together it was love…bromance at its best…
everyone could see how well MAT KOOL and Panda got on together as Panda was
introduced to the excited crowd…
The launch then took place and was officiated by Ms Yit Woon
Lai, Business Executive Officer, Ice Cream Business Unit, with the presence of
Mr Eugene Chan, Executive Director, Communications, Nestle Malaysia Berhad…
We also got to watch the brand new TV commercial which showcased
an action packed story featuring MAT KOOL and his cuddly new friend Panda…. And
then we were all given an ice cream each to try…. And it is indeed yummy.. I love
it loads and as to how much I love it, I had a total of 3 ice creams before I
went home… hahahah – Miera Nadhirah you are such a greedy pig… hmmmppph
Once the event was over, many of us went on a mini Amazing
Race around the small portion of the zoo, having to answer clues and telling
the crew members at certain check points the answers before getting our puzzle pieces…
Our prize was the most cutest MAT KOOL Panda ice cream
plushie…
We ended our adventure and the event sighing over the antics and admiring
the adorable giant panda family… Xing Xing, Liang Liang and their baby Nuan
Nuan…
MAT KOOL Panda ice cream is available in the stores and err…

ReplyDeleteI remember a long time ago there was a similar shaped ice-cream sold in chocolate and vanilla flavours. Looking forward to trying this new one :)
