KidZania Kuala Lumpur Celebrates Turning '3'

KidZania marks its birthday with a new loyalty programme, KidZo earning bonuses, exciting performances and goodies galore.

Yours truly here and her little girl were there at KidZania to join in the third anniversary celebration yesterday in an event that proves that things do really get bigger and better with age!!!

In conjunction with its third anniversary, the first 100 visitors who were there at KidZania were given free entry!! Then there were special performances by KidZania Kuala Lumpur's dance troupe and percussionists, musical bands and a very exhilarating acrobatic lion dance that really kept the festive mood going!!!

And at every couple of hours.... KidZania Kuala Lumpur gave away 80 goodie bags from KidZania industry partners Allianz, HOYA, Pharmaniaga and  PONEY

The third anniversary celebration was presided over by the Governor of KidZania Malaysia and Singapore, Susanah Abdul Rani alongside Yang Mulia Tunku Dato' Ahmad Burhanuddin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Themed Attractions and Resorts Sdn Bhd and Shahrul Nizar Ahmad, Mayor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur, who all joined in to officiate the event in a cake-cutting extravaganza...and oh gosh, the cake was just simply gorgeous!!!

"It's been three years since we've launched KidZania Kuala Lumpur, and since then we've catered to well over a million visitors. By regularly introducing new activities to give young visitors more edutainment experiences and exposure to real life professions, we remain a continued favorite of kids, parents and the industry, " the Governor of KidZania Malaysia and Singapore , Susanah Abdul Rani said.

Last year KidZania Kuala Lumpur won the 'Best Experience for Kids' at the Best of Malaysia Awards (BOMA), making it the second consecutive win in the same award category since 2012.

Amidst the festive anniversary celebrations, KidZania Kuala Lumpur also officially launched the KidZania Kuala Lumpur B KidZanian loyalty programme which allows kids to become "CitiZens" of KidZania. Given a passport as a sign of their citizenship, members of B.KidZanian will be given the opportunity to record and track their career and job accomplishments by the way of passport stamps, given to them once they have completed their tasks or activities at the various KidZania establishments.

My little girl became a member of B.KidZanian with only RM30 and getting her details recorded and picture taken at the Pazzport office on the 1st level of KidZania. The more stamps the kids acquire, the faster they will then advance through the three levels of CitiZenship which tier from "Entry" , "Distinguished" to "Honorable", thus earning them more benefits to enjoy at KidZania, including preferred access at the Airport, discounts at the National Store of KidZania, and more kidZos -the official currency for KidZania.

In conjunction of the launch, kids who signed up for B.KidZanian programme were also given 30% discount vouchers off KidZania Kuala Lumpur admission tickets as well as enjoy the additional benefit of earning an additional 10 kidZos in all earning establishments on the same day!!!! My little girl was delirious with excitement!!

As a responsible organization, fortifying social responsibilities and creating positive impact to improve the lives of its surrounding communities, Themed Attraction and Resorts Sdn Bhd  also sponsored the visit of children from the Rumah Solehah and Keluarga Besar Norlina Alawi Berhad homes, giving them the opportunity to experience and enjoy themselves at KidZania for the first time!!
