Make your own Beautiful Jewelleries workshop

Last Sunday my daughter and I went to Kinokuniya to try her hand at making her own Straw Themed Jewellery. We got there early at about 10.30am, and the owner, a lovely lady named Miss Angie registered us and showed us to our seats.

Each participant was given a Bead Design Board, some straws, flowers, beads and nylon string. The price of the workshop is RM68 inclusive of GST and is run by the Elegant Jewellery Studio.

These were the sample of the Straw Themed Jewelleries that they were making... comprising of a necklace, a bracelet and a pair of earrings...

Miss Angie showed us how the kids could make their jewellery. They can have a choice of having a shorter length necklace...

..or even a longer length necklace...

Miss Angie showed them and explained to the kids how to arrange the the beads on the board....

Then my daughter tried her hand out, carefully measuring the length of the necklace she wanted....

Here you can see her hard at work cutting the coloured straws into the length she wanted....

Miss Angie goes around to monitor her young students...

My little girl threading her beads, flowers and straws combination.....

The variety of colourful beads available...

Moms waiting...... (seen here, fellow blogger pals, Nannie and Kylie)

Taaa daa, the first couple of little girls who completed their Straw Themed costume jewellery showing them off....

And here is my little girl Anne with her creations...

And a group picture with Miss Angie before leaving ...

And here are just a few other types of costume jewellery you can do it yourself  with lessons from Miss Angie and her very capable team, like these polymer clay beads jewellery....
