#AABC Asean Traveller Contest

"I am the best candidate to be AirAsia Asean Traveller’s  Beach Specialist because... I just love travelling and seeing beautiful sceneries, historical places and of course beaches, and since AirAsia Asean Traveller is looking for a Beach Specialist, Ok, maybe I might not exactly qualify being and though I am not exactly sure if I can really be considered  the expert here, but if I am selected, I will certainly be doing my best …… and here’s the list of activities I will do as a  Beach Specialist with the AirAsia Asean Pass"

A beach holiday normally signifies relaxation from the busy hectic rat race kind of life we live in.  There is nothing more relaxing then taking some time off our busy schedules for a holiday with powdery white sand, golden sand, black sand or even coarse seashells strewn beaches... and emerald waters, aqua blue waters, sparkling turquoise waters or crystal clear waters .. each of the beaches and the sea that accompanies them are different and that is what that makes each beach magnificent and unique in their own way....

I have been to a few beaches around  Phuket, Koh Samui ,Bali  and of course Malaysia and well, they are each gorgeous in their own way... There is nothing better then the scent of sea breeze or the colours of the breaking dawn or setting sun in the evening whenever you are at a beach...

Heck, I can never resist hitting the beach early in the morning or in the evening for a view of the breathtaking sunrise or sunset whenever I am at a beach...It is when we can truly marvel at the beauty of God's creation best...

Ok.. what are the list of activities I will do as a Beach Specialist....

I am a very flexible person but I think I would really love to be able to:
  • Swim with the Whale Sharks in Oslob, Philippines
  • Swimming with Dolphins in Bali, Indonesia
  • Walking under the sea in Bali, Indonesia
  • Island hopping in Krabi, Thailand
  • Snorkelling in Nha Trang, Vietnam
  • Swimming at the Three Islets, Myanmar
  • Hurricane Windsurfing at Otres Beach, Cambodia

To be able to swim with the Whale Sharks in Oslob, Philippines is a dream come true and a highlight of  those who travelled to Cebu. For about  1000 pesos,  you get to spend 30 minutes watching these huge sharks swim around and have their meal.... It is bound to be a truly unforgettable moment...

For dolphin lovers like myself, swimming with the dolphins in Sanur,  Bali, Indonesia would be also an amazing event, one that will remain in our fondest memories for a lifetime...

At the same time, while in Bali, it might be a great idea trying out the Bali Marine Walk at Lembongan, Bali, Indonesia as well..something different from the norm...here you will be given the chance to take a stroll at the bottom of the Bali sea ... You will be accompanied with well trained Sea Walker instructors at all times under water ...

Island hopping in Krabi, Thailand is probably at the top of every Krabi visitor's to-do list: this coastal province boasts more than 100 islands and dramatic rock formations that will entrance you with breathtaking colours and scenery before even reaching the white sand beaches and turquoise water.

Snorkelling in Nha Trang, Vietnam.. Do you know thaNha Trang - the coastal city of Vietnam which has been considered as one of the 29 most beautiful bay in the world with just as amazing underwater sceneries...It is also said you can try walking under the sea here too because they have that here too...

The Three Islets in Myanmar is famous if you like to swim and snorkel with tons of fishes through the crystal-clear water.

Hurricane Windsurfing  is something to try in this lovely idyllic and serene at Otres Beach, Sihanoukville in  Cambodia. It is somewhat like surfing but with the sails for you to hold on to...

And there you have it....my little proposal .. now would I be chosen for this? I really don't know as I know I am not the best but I certainly would strive to do my best if chosen.... fingers crossed for myself.. as I would dearly love a trip to these places if possible..

In the meantime, do check out  airasia.com/AseanPass  to learn more about this awesome AirAsia Asean Pass...
