Food Indulgence at Pretz n' Beanz

Pretz n’ Beanz Cafe is a place where pretzels meet coffee. Yours truly was over at the Pretz n' Beanz Cafe which is located right in the heart of Solaris Mont Kiara.

The Pretz n’ Beanz cafe here is very cosy, relaxed and fun with fun sayings and motivation on the walls. But what I was here was to check out the scrumptious, soft pretzels they served as well as their freshly brewed coffee.. which anyone can enjoy anytime, all day long.

Parking can be a bit of a hassle but please do not use the easy way and park at the side of the road no matter how tempting it is.. I heard the traffic police and the DBKL are very active around this area even at night!!! So don't say I did not tell you....

This is Miera Nadhirah... Miera Nadhirah parks at the car park in Solaris Mont Kiara.... Miera Nadhirah is smart... Be like Miera Nadhirah... ok.. ok... I did not mean to be annoyingly narcissistic...LOL

Whether you need a kick start in the morning, a power fuelled lunch, a quick snack, something to wind down after a hard day’s work, or simply a place to hangout with friends and chat, Pretz n’ Beanz would be the ideal place for you.

Pretz n' Beanz cafe serves a very unique pretzel that is just so fluffy, oil-less and 100% natural without any added preservatives.

And by using their special pretzel recipe directly from their own chefs at their very own factory, they developed their First Pretzel Pizza in Malaysia in July 2014 and this Pretzel Pizza definitely gained a lot of popularity!

Currently, there is only one Pretz n' Beanz outlet which is this one at the Solaris Mont Kiara as they have relocated the other one to a soon to be mentioned address in the heart of Bangsar. Pretz n' Beans holds close to their mission statement which is "Serving what they love to be our everyday cafe,as well as inspiring Love Life, Love Coffee and Love Food...."

So come and join me and see some of the food selections I made and had for lunch recently, while I was there at the Pretz n' Beanz cafe.....

Caffe Latte (RM11.00)  - the aroma of this house blended coffee was just so fragrant, the taste was just smooth and the Caffe Latte comes with a lovely heart shaped coffee art....

Being famous for their pretzels, naturally you HAVE to get one of this....You can choose from Plain, Sesame Sugar, Basil Cheese, Parmesan Cheese, Cinnamon Sugar, Original, Chocolate Peanut Crunch or Chocolate Cookie Crunch...

Someone told me the Basil Cheese pretzel (RM7.30) came highly recommended so I ordered one...

You can opt for some dipping sauces, to dip your pretzels in.. which  comes in 4 flavours... caramel, chocolate, cream cheese and sour cream & onions...each for just RM2.05. Try it... is is just heavenly on your palate...

If you are at the Pretz n' Beanz cafe in the morning, I really swear by the Champignon Baked Egg (RM17.90) It is simply delicious and one was almost not enough for me...

This dish consisted of eggs baked with tomatoes, mushroom and mozzarella cheese served with two plain pretzels and some carrot and celery sticks...

It kinda resembled lasagne and when you dig into it, it could be slightly runny, but the taste.... is OUT OF THIS WORLD....You can taste the egg and the sauteed mushrooms perfectly...

Feeling peckish in the afternoon or evening, you absolutely have to try out the Pretz n' Stew which consists of a couple of freshly baked pretzels with your choice of stew..

There are three flavours available, Beef Goulash, Green Curry and Cheesy Chicken... And I tried and tasted the Green Curry Chicken which is scrumptious...RM17.90

It is a little spicy and well it does taste like the Thai Green curry but it is a slightly different version and the stew is quite rich and thick....

I also had one of those Pretzel Pizza and it was really yummy... it has a slightly more chewy and softer taste then conventional pizzas. Choose from 8 different flavours: Sweet Potato, Double Cheese, BBQ Chicken, Al Funghi, Pepperoni Beef, Chicken Hawaiian, Norwegian Delight and/or Hot Pepper Chilli Chicken... and two sizes: 7" or 10"....

I ordered the Al-Funghi pretzel pizza (RM16.85 for 7" and 23.20 for 10") Basically it is pretzel dough topped with pizza sauce, sauteed mushrooms, capsicums, tomatoes, black olives and a generous smattering of mozzarella cheese... Bite into it and you will not be thinking of those plain ordinary conventional pizzas again for a while....

Pretz n' Beanz also has seasonal specials.. and these specials comes with a free Americano, Ice Lemon Tea or Gourmet Tea (any flavour)... You can also just add RM3.00 to upgrade your drink to a Cappuccino or a Latte...

I ordered the Penne Chicken Bolognese with Meatballs (RM25.90) . The meatballs was very fresh and tasty... and the sauce a perfect complement to the pasta...

There are some places that serves undercooked pasta or watery sauce, but this is not the case here as the pasta is soft and chewy as it is meant to be and the bolognese sauce is quite flavorful...

A good meal of course must end with something sweet, preferably... and this Volcano Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream (RM13.65) was just a perfect ending to my meal....

It was served warmed up with a nice cold vanilla ice cream on top of it while it oozes some of the chocolate sauce in it....

The combination of cold vanilla ice cream and this warm volcano chocolate cake and the chocolate cream was truly very mouthwatering and delicious..... This is one of the most popular dessert at the Pretz n' Beanz cafe too, so do not miss out on it....

My conclusion and my thoughts about it, I do enjoy the food here a lot and it taste great, so if you are in need of something different then just rice or steaks, you really ought to check this place out...

My ratings : 4.5/5
