Candle Pit Stop

Yours truly headed over to IPC last Sunday for a Bloggers preview at the Candle Pit Stop there.  Thanks to fellow blogger, Tommy Tong who invited the few of us there. For those who do not know what a Candle Pit Stop, continue reading and you will know and find out more....

Candle Pit Stop sells their very own Waxbitz   which is totally eco-friendly and made from 100% vegetable wax, making it burn well and safe with no chemical releasing soot!

There were two good looking Pit Stop guys there in red caps, yellow shirts and overalls...

You can choose from  10 different base colours and scents or mix them up to your liking till you've created that perfect scent and colour to suit your mood, event or theme!

It is downright ingenious and perfect for just about  any occasions, any place and at any time! All you need is some heat proof container and creativity!

There are just so many amazing ways to use and enjoy your Waxbitz

.....in a glass jar ornament.....

.....in a pretty bowl with pretty flowers around it...

...in a huge glass which can double for an aquarium...

Waxbitz are so pleasing to smell and truly relaxing to the senses and pretty to look at as well...

Are you impressed yet? I know when I first got to know the Candle Pit Stop and learned about the various possibilities I could decorate and play with the Waxbitz I was definitely excited!!!

Here are some of my blogger pals, Kelly, Rane and Jane who are listening with rapt attention as Julia, the owner explains more about the Waxbitz.

Be sure to check out the colour and scent chart as well... before experimenting with your colours and scents

You can sniff from the test tubes here ...

...or the little jars here... and mix and match your own scents....

For my own selection, I chose the Citronella and Tango Mango, I chose Citronella as in January , especially after the monsoon season and rain, it is normally a time for many mosquitoes and in Malaysia, we have the dreaded dengue fever. It is a time many people are struck by dengue. My brother in law himself was just down with it a few of weeks ago, and last year, my eldest daughter and I were both down with it. Citronella is supposedly famous for being a mosquito and also other insects repellent because of it's strong scent so it would be handy. I covered up the smell a little by mixing an equal combination of Tango Mango and it smelled just heavenly...

Once your Waxbitz are measured , they are poured into the Atomic Shaker and given to you to shake... This is kind of fun as it will emit smiles and laughter as it is being shaken...

There you have it.. this is my "Lovely Baby" creation with Citronella and Tango Mango Waxbitz.

The Candle Pit Stop has their set of trading cards for their fans to collect. You can keep them or trade them back to the Candle Pit Stop for a 5 % discount per card up to a maximum of 10 cards which equals a whopping 50 % discount !!!!

These cards are also nicknamed the Origins which mean whatever that inspired the Candle Pit Stop to being what it is today....

Here is yet another combination... I think it is Citronella, Sea Breeze, Apple and Tango Mango...

And watch as my dear blogger friend Rane and her adorable toddler daughter do the Atomic Shake too.....yeaaappp.... you have it right... even a cute kiddy can shake the Atomic Shaker!!!

Once you have mixed it all and have it packed up... you can name your scent... and put it into the Flaming Pot where each month, a lucky winner will be selected....and win the trading cards !!

Here is Ryan, one of the Candle Pit Stop guys who taught us how to stick the wick into the candles an also the wick holder.

If you are using the wick, the recommended length is about 5mm  above the Waxbitz...

We definitely had an interesting couple of hours learning more about the Waxbitz and the Candle Pit Stop.. and our little preview ended with each of us given a hotdog.....

So there you have it... Come to the Candle Pit Stop and check out these amazing Waxbitz... and use them to light up your life.....
