Eat Blog FoodPanda

So a couple of days ago I was having a busy day and was going out again for the evening for a Christmas party, leaving my husband and little girl at home. Hubby insisted he wanted to stay home with kiddo, so I decided to get something for their dinner.

It won't be fair to leave them to just eat normal rice or bread, when I was out having a great time with my friends , right?

So after thinking for a bit, I decided to order via FoodPanda. i already had the app downloaded via my Android Playstore, and so I just opened the app and the page (pic as above ) popped up.
All we have to do is key in our location and since I was at the Quill City mall during that particular time, I put that in, and a whole list of available restaurants popped up...

Hubby liked Tony Roma's lamb chop, so I decided to get that for him...Just scroll the list and when I found the restaurant (ie.Tony Roma's -nearest being at the Pavilion) I was interested in, I clicked on it and another page popped up...

The menu was quite  generous and I click on "Tony's World Famous Ribs" for yet another page...

Click or tap on my selection,,, "Grilled Lamb Chops", which consisted of Marinated Lamb Chops with mashed potatoes and coleslaw and select quantity of item, and add it into the basket....

You will see a tick at the item you ordered....

Then I selected my 2nd item, which was the Nolita Deli Panini, a thin sliced smoked Turkey, Genda Salami sandwich for my daughter

Add it into the basket as well...then click/ tap on the basket icon on the top right corner of the picture...

Your selection will be shown and also the total you need to pay....

Then all you have to do is key in your delivery address, telephone number, payment method.... and any other details. Payment method for restaurants varies. Some of them you can make by online payment but certain restaurants demand cash on delivery so read carefully before placing order for certain....

You have to wait about an hour from the time you order your meal to the time you get your food orders delivered. So arrange your time. I had an event, so midway during the event, I sent the order and had just a few minutes to wait once my event ended and I went to receive my order.

It was raining and my FoodPanda delivery guy was a very friendly guy who was all apologies and smiles as he delivered my food order, as he was about 3 minutes late due to the rain. He called me as I told them I would pick up the food from the front entrance of the Quill City Mall just before I head home.

Taa daaa... there you have it... my husband and daughter's dinner delivered by FoodPanda.. It is very convenient and easy to order but restaurants vary depending on where you live or work. At the moment I could not order at home, because in my home area in Gombak, I only have Papa John's on the list and my husband wasn't too fond of pizza. Hopefully, soon there will be a whole lot of more choices, so I can order from home too...

My food came nicely packed in cardboard cartons as well as plastic containers for the coleslaw and mashed potatoes. I also love the generous serving of chilli sauces as well...

Here is the sneak peek of the dishes I ordered.....
