Being part of the Butterfly Project Bloggers, I was very fortunate to be able to get a Shizens Lip Tattoo in my Christmas Beauty Box. I was naturally excited having heard a lot about this product.
It is said that this product is from Korea and it is an exclusive product that adds a spread of moisture and supposedly relieves the formation of fine lines. It is also said to help to lighten dark pigmented lips and with frequent wear, it gradually turn my lips into natural pink or rosy tones.
The product is a liquid like a lip gloss which is whitish in colour, and I am suppose to apply it on my lips once a day, in the morning to bring out the natural pigmentation in my lips.
I do not have to wear a lipstick when using this product. but can touch up with a lip gloss in the afternoon if I like...Supposedly with time and with regular use of the Lip Tattoo, my “natural lip colour” will become more permanent, and I can reduce the usage of the product.
When applying it, there is a slight tingling/stinging sensation. The whitish gloss will turn translucent or light pink on your lips. It also plumps up the lips a little.
Note my lips in the picture above and below and the difference... I did not apply the Shizens Lip Tattoo to the top left part of my lips whereas the other part of my lips are more pinkish from the application of the Shizens Lip Tattoo.
I do not have to put on any other lipstick or lip gloss once I have applied it but the colour does fade off after meals and we can either re apply it or put on some lip gloss or lip stick.
