Food review: Moo Cow Frozen Yogurt

I love my yogurt, it is one of my must have food, most especially when I am travelling. I must have tasted almost a hundred different brands now all over the world because when I travel, sometimes I am on a budget, but sometimes I just need something to grab and eat on the go... and yogurt is my must have.

I will normally pop into any convenience shop, 7-11s or supermarket and get a small cup of it

Yogurts are made using active, good bacteria. One of the words you hear associated to yogurt is ''probiotics.'' Probiotic, which literally means ''for life,'' refers to living organisms that can result in a health benefit when eaten in adequate amounts.

These probiotics provide benefits by adjusting the microflora (the natural balance of organisms) in the intestines, or by acting directly on body functions, such as digestion or immune function. Yogurt eaters will also get a dose of animal protein (about 9 grams per 6-ounce serving), plus several other nutrients found in dairy foods, like calcium, vitamin B-2, B-12, potassium, and magnesium.

In fact, the health benefits of yogurt are so impressive that many health-conscious people make it a daily habit.
I have passed by the Moo Cow outlet many times and well, decided to stop and try it with my little girl yesterday. It is hard to miss a Moo Cow outlet, because there is a huge cow statue there painted in strange colours and designs and every now and then the cow can even "moo" !!! Then there are cute and funny farm animal characters with human names that can bring a smile to your face...

Imagine... a duck named Suria, or a sheep named Siti Maria or an owl named Irene.... cute huh!!!
Anyway, Moo Cow Frozen Yogurt serves up fat free froyo in plain original and monthly seasonal flavours it was Gula Melaka and Blackcurrant , when I was there yesterday, but I heard they have wheatgrass and dates ...

Each purchase gets you a loyalty card and stamp; collect the required number of stamps and you can get a free gift.

Anyway I think the price is pretty reasonable comparing to their competitors, as it is served per cup at just RM9.90. And you can ask opt for additional toppings at RM1 each. My little girl and I ordered the original flavour and had some waffle chips and strawberry jam/sauce added in.  It was definitely heavenly and all this yumminess for a guilt-free dessert....
