Astro continues to bring world class premier sports events to fulfill the viewing needs of Malaysian sports fans. Very soon, another major sports event, 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014 will be coming and Astro is pleased to bring live and comprehensive coverage via TV and Astro on the Go platform. The 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014 will be held in Incheon from 19th September to 4th October 2014.

Astro Sports Pack and SuperPack customers will be able to enjoy the Asian Games via 7 dedicated High Definition (HD) channels and 7 dedicated Standard Definition (SD) channels on Astro TV. At the same time they can also watch the live broadcast on their tablet, smartphone and PC via Astro on the Go, where 6 dedicated channels are available. The 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014 will feature a total of 45 countries including Malaysia participating in 438 events competed covering 36 varied sports and disciplines. This year, Asian Games introduce their slogan, “Diversity Shines Here” to represents and highlights the significance of Asia’s wonderful diversity in history, cultures, and religions. Malaysia will send a total of 288 athletes in sporting events including squash, badminton, diving, karate, hockey, tenpin bowling and football.
