Recipes: Macaroni and Cheese


Ingredients:
·         250g Alce Nero Organic Macaroni
·         3 tbsp Alce Nero organic Extra Viring Olive Oil
·         4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
·         2 big chicken sausages, sliced
·         1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
·         350g Alce Nero Organic Tomato Sauce Vegetables
·         ½ cup grated Mozzarella cheese
·         4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
·         2 teaspoons chopped parsley

Method:

1.       Bring a large pan of lightly salted water to boil over medium heat.
1.       Add in macaroni and cook about 10-12 minutes. Drain thoroughly. Meanwhile, heat extra virgin olive oil in a pan.
2.       Add in sausages, cook over medium high heat about 2 – 3 minutes.
3.       Add garlic and sauté until soft, about 2 minutes.
4.       Ass in crushed red pepper, Alce Nero Organic Tomato Sauce Vegetables, then macaroni.
5.       Season to taste with salt and pepper.
6.       Put the macaroni in one large baking dish; sprinkle Parmesan and Mozzarella over.
7.       Place in preheated oven until cheese melts and begins to brown, watching closely to prevent burning, about 1 ½ minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and olive oil and serve.
